The TARDIS slowly muttered behind him as the Doctor made his way to the building that housed the signal of the woman’s mobile phone. At last it was time to meet his new friend.
Dawn had found the long passing minutes utterly boring, so she had no choice to doing the only thing she could do with what she had: read. She drew her entire attention to her book, sometimes curiously peeking back at her mobile phone to see if this alien truly would come at her rescue.
Inside the ship, a slightly familiar sound filled the dungeons and Dawn got on her feet, paying special attention as a strange man opened the doors of the blue box.
“Are you the alien who’s gonna take me away?"
❝ — yes; that’s me. I’m the Doctor. ❞
A smile formed as his eyes scraped over the face of his new friend.
